I just became aware that our old friend, “The Colonel”, Jefferson Davis was recently promoted to 9th Degree Black belt (Ku-dan, Grand Master) in Tracy’s Kenpo Karate.
His promotion was at the Gathering of Eagles in Chicago, IL on June 29, 2013.
Jefferson Davis has been teaching Kenpo since 1975, almost 40 years. In fact, Brother Ron Jones & I were competing Col. Davis’ “St. Louis Budweiser National Karate Classic” (aka: The Bud Classic) over 20 years ago.
